My Approach
My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I draw from trauma-informed, attachment-based, and somatic approaches and blend them with practical tools to support emotional regulation, nervous system awareness, and meaningful change in your day-to-day life.
I often support clients with:
ADHD (and ADHD in relationships)
Emotion dysregulation and BPD traits
Anxiety and grief
PTSD and developmental trauma
Relationship issues and conflict repair
Adjustment after brain injury or concussion
Therapy with me isn’t just about insight or “talking it out.” It’s about transformation. You’ll leave sessions with both reflective awareness and tools you can use right away. Whether we’re unpacking patterns, working on communication, or learning how to calm your nervous system, my goal is for you to feel empowered, more connected to yourself, and more capable of navigating your relationships and your world.
The Path That Led Me Here
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working in physical rehabilitation and community mental health, supporting people recovering from motor vehicle accidents and brain injuries. I saw firsthand how deeply emotional health is tied to physical recovery and how many people were struggling silently without the mental health support they truly needed.
That experience inspired me to pivot into psychotherapy, where I could offer more than just practical help. I could offer presence, emotional safety, and meaningful therapeutic change.
Now, as a Qualifying Registered Psychotherapist, I bring both of those worlds together. My approach is not just supportive and relational but also structured and empowering. I want you to feel heard and safe and also equipped to take what we explore in therapy and apply it to your life in real ways.
Outside of sessions I’m usually recharging in nature, spending time with my dog, playing pickleball, snowboarding through the winter, or connecting with friends, family, and the people I love most. I also practice yoga and meditation, weight train regularly, and am always learning more to better support my clients through reading, ongoing training, and exploring new perspectives in mental health and healing.
These practices help me stay grounded, curious, and present. They are qualities I aim to bring into every session.
If you're feeling overwhelmed, scattered, or unsure where to start, you’re not alone. It would be an honour to walk with you on this part of your journey.
