What Therapy Can Look Like

Trauma-informed therapy symbol representing healing, growth, and emotional resilience

Trauma-informed / somatic

  • When everything feels overwhelming or out of control, we’ll slow things down and help your nervous system feel safer and more regulated

  • When your body feels tense, anxious, or constantly on edge, we’ll learn how to understand what it’s holding — and how to release that safely

  • When you feel stuck in survival mode (always on, shut down, or reactive), we’ll work toward helping you feel more grounded and in control

Heart in hands symbol representing attachment-based, relational, and compassionate therapy

Attachment-based

  • When you keep ending up in the same relationship patterns, we’ll explore what’s underneath and why it makes sense

  • When connection feels hard — whether it’s conflict, distance, or feeling misunderstood — we’ll work toward building safer, more secure relationships

Puzzle brain symbol representing cognitive behavioural therapy and practical coping strategies.

CBT / practical tools

  • When your thoughts feel loud, overwhelming, or hard to manage, we’ll build practical tools to help you slow things down and feel more in control

  • When you feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, procrastination, or self-doubt, we’ll gently work through what’s keeping you there

Conversation symbol representing parts work and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy.

IFS/ parts work

  • When part of you wants to move forward, but another part holds you back, we’ll make sense of that inner conflict

  • When your inner voice is critical or hard on you, we’ll work toward responding with more understanding and compassion
