ADHD Therapy & Support in Ontario
Your brain works differently, and that is not a flaw. Together, we can find strategies that work with how you think, not against it.
Do any of these sound familiar?
You start a dozen tasks but struggle to finish any of them
Time seems to slip away - you are always running late or losing track of hours
You feel overwhelmed by simple decisions that other people handle easily
Your emotions spike fast; frustration, excitement, or shame can hit without warning
You procrastinate on important things even when you genuinely want to do them
You forget appointments, deadlines, or conversations that just happened
You zone out during meetings or conversations, even when you are trying to pay attention
You have a pile of half-read books, unfinished projects, or abandoned hobbies
ADHD is not a lack of willpower, it is a nervous system that responds to interest and urgency, not importance and deadlines.
How I Work With ADHD, Anxiety & Attention Challenges
I work with you to understand your unique ADHD profile, because no two people experience it the same way. In our sessions, we explore what is getting in the way and build practical strategies designed around how your brain actually functions. This is not about trying harder. It is about working smarter, with tools that fit you.
Many of the people I work with arrive carrying years of shame, feeling lazy, broken, or that they should just be able to get it together. I want you to know that it is not the truth. We start with understanding before we work on anything else. Sessions are paced to accommodate ADHD attention patterns: we cover what matters most, stay flexible, and leave time to reflect so things actually stick.
You do not need to earn the right to ask for help. Reaching out is already the first step, and you are already doing it.
Who I Work With: ADHD Across Different Experiences
-
Many adults come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in cycles of procrastination, or struggling with focus, organization, and follow-through. You may feel like you’re constantly trying to keep up or questioning why things seem harder for you than others. Together, we work on both practical strategies and the emotional patterns that often come with ADHD, such as self-criticism or burnout.
-
ADHD can impact communication, emotional regulation, and connection within relationships. You or your partner may feel misunderstood, frustrated, or disconnected at times. I support individuals and couples in better understanding how ADHD shows up in their dynamic, improving communication, and creating more supportive, connected relationships.
-
Being diagnosed with ADHD later in life can bring a mix of relief and grief. You may be rethinking past experiences or recognizing patterns that were previously misunderstood. Therapy can be a space to process this, build self-compassion, and develop tools that support how your brain works.
-
Some individuals have learned to cope or “mask” their ADHD, often appearing high-functioning on the outside while feeling overwhelmed internally. This can lead to exhaustion, anxiety, or feeling like you’re constantly working harder than others. Together, we explore ways to reduce that internal pressure and create more sustainable ways of functioning.

ADHD in children can show up in different ways, including difficulty with focus, impulsivity, emotional regulation, and following routines. Children may struggle in school, have challenges with transitions, or experience big emotions that feel hard to manage.
I work with children and their families to better understand how ADHD is showing up and to support emotional regulation, confidence, and daily functioning. This can include helping children build coping skills, improving communication, and supporting parents in responding in ways that feel more effective and connected.
For parents, it can feel overwhelming trying to navigate behaviours, school concerns, and emotional outbursts. Therapy can provide guidance, tools, and a space to better understand your child’s needs, while also strengthening your relationship with them.
