If your ADHD brain feels at odds with a fast, demanding city, you are not lazy or failing. You are running a different operating system. We offer neurodiversity-affirming ADHD therapy for adults across Toronto, in person near Leslie and Sheppard or online anywhere in the city.
Toronto runs fast. Long commutes, packed calendars, demanding jobs, and a constant stream of things competing for your attention. For an adult with ADHD, that environment can turn ordinary tasks into a daily uphill climb, and years of falling behind can harden into shame.
Therapy will not slow the city down, but it can change your relationship with your own brain. We make sense of how your attention, motivation and sense of time actually work, lift the weight of the shame, and build flexible systems that hold up in real Toronto life rather than an idealized version of it.
You can meet in person at our North York office, an easy trip from across the city, or online from wherever you are in Toronto.
Self-understanding first, then strategies that fit the life you actually live.
Making sense of how ADHD shows up for you specifically, so the way forward fits the brain you actually have, not a generic checklist.
Compassion-focused work to undo years of feeling lazy or not enough, and to separate who you are from the symptoms you have been blaming yourself for.
Practical, flexible scaffolding for time, tasks and follow-through that holds up against Toronto commutes, deadlines and full calendars.
Tools for the rejection sensitivity, overwhelm and big feelings that so often travel with adult ADHD.
Wherever you are in the city, and whether or not you have a formal diagnosis.
Capable at work but drowning in admin, email and follow-through, and hiding how hard it is.
At U of T, TMU, York, OCAD or George Brown, struggling with focus, deadlines and starting tasks.
You only just put a name to it as an adult, and so much suddenly makes sense.
Holding a household and maybe your own ADHD too, running on empty.
Brilliant in bursts, but unpredictable routines make systems hard to keep.
Smart, trying hard, and still feeling like you are working twice as hard just to keep up.
