Seniors, dementia & caregiver support · North York & online across Ontario
Emotional support for older adults, including those living with dementia, and for the partners, children, and families who care for them.
A diagnosis brings more than appointments. It brings grief for the future you pictured, fear of what is ahead, and big questions about who you are. Especially in the earlier stages, therapy offers a steady place to face those feelings, and to keep living fully in the meantime.
Space to be angry, scared, and sad about it, with someone who will not rush you toward silver linings.
You are still you. We work on holding onto the roles, relationships, and joys that matter most, for as long as possible.
Worry and depression often travel with a diagnosis. Gentle, practical support can ease the weight of both.
Caring for someone with dementia is an act of love that can quietly empty you out. If you are exhausted, grieving someone who is still here, and feeling guilty for even needing a break, this hour is for you.
Sepideh Kojori, RP (Qualifying), works with caregivers and older adults alongside Melissa, including families navigating a chronic health condition, and can meet with you in English or Farsi.
Mourning the person as they were, while they are still with you, is one of the hardest kinds of loss. It deserves real space, not just coping tips.
Exhaustion, frustration, and moments of resentment are normal, not shameful. We work on sustainable ways to keep caring without disappearing.
Care decisions can strain marriages and sibling relationships. We help you navigate the guilt, the boundaries, and the hard conversations.
One protected hour to grieve, vent, plan, and breathe, so you can return to caregiving as a person, not just a role.
Caring for someone should not mean losing yourself
That is what the free 15-minute consultation is for.
Warm, practical, and honest. We support the emotional side of dementia, always alongside your medical and community care team, never in place of them.
Making room for loss, including the losses others cannot see, at a pace that respects where you are.
Softening the guilt and self-criticism that so often shadow both diagnosis and caregiving.
Realistic strategies for stress, sleep, difficult moments, and asking for help before you are past empty.
