A little about me

Sepideh Kojori

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
She / Her · Sessions in English and Farsi

I believe the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful therapy. When you feel heard, understood, and respected, therapy can become a space where you can be yourself, gain clarity, and work toward meaningful change. I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment where I can meet you where you are and work at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

My approach is compassionate, culturally sensitive, and strength-based, drawing from CBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, somatic approaches, and grounding techniques. I work with children ages 10 and older, teens, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, postpartum challenges, ADHD, recovery following a motor vehicle accident, traumatic brain injuries, grief and loss, work or school challenges, and chronic health conditions.

Having grown up in different communities across the GTA and developed a bicultural identity myself, I understand the challenges that can come with navigating different cultural values and family expectations. Services are available in both English and Farsi.

Life can bring many challenges, and I am passionate about supporting clients through difficult and important moments in their lives. I have seen friends and people close to me navigate postpartum depression, anxiety, and depression, and I have witnessed their resilience and the difference that timely support can make. These experiences have strengthened my passion for helping others feel supported, understood, and less alone during challenging times.

Outside of practice, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, travelling, trying new restaurants, playing backgammon, and learning about different cultures.
